Man Drinks Beer For 46 Days And Loses More Than 15kg In A Month!

Beer? Diet? How about stop eating your food and start drink beer only?? We know this sounds a little crazy, but apparently we have someone from Cincinnati, Ohio that has decided to embark on this interesting diet plan where he replaced food with beer for 46 days!

Del Hall, the director of sales at a brewing company mentioned that this beer fast will be on for a total 46 days leading up to Easter Sunday 2019.

Accordingly to This Is Insider , this man was inspired by German monks from the 1600s, who brewed a specific beer for lent, when they couldn’t eat solid food. While the monks stuck to the hearty doppelbock beers which are rich in carbohydrates, Hall told This Is Insider that he will drink any type of beer.

“I feel like if I do this, and I finish the 46 days, and I’m a sane man, moving forward, if I’m presented with an unhealthy food option, I can say I don’t need to eat that right now,” Hall said.

While taking the month off eating food, Hall had check-ups with a doctor every two weeks to make sure that his body is holding up throughout the fast.

Ahead of starting the fast, the doctor told him he was in an overall good health, and should take a daily multivitamin and making sure he stays hydrated throughout the 46 days diet plan. During the beginning of the fast, Hall, who is 6-foot-two, weighed 292 pounds and after the first week of the fast it was reported that he lost a total of 15 pounds!

“Your digestive system sort of shuts down,” he said of the fast. “So you have to slowly re-introduce food.”

While his first few meals after breaking fast will be soup to normalize his body, he told INSIDER he looks forward to eating a steak when it’s all over.

Well… While most of us are having a hard time dieting… Here we have someone who loses 15kg in 1 month drinking beer only.

Pretty sure this unique diet plan isn’t for everyone… at least not for Really Mou’s writers…
