Tan Sri Tony Fernandes closed his Facebook account citing that “hate” being transmitted on social media networks after the live-stream of terror attack on the mosque in New Zealand.
“The amount of hate that goes on social media sometimes outweighs the good.” said Tony in his Twitter Post. “But on Twitter I think the battle for me goes on”

Following the shut down, Tony has also expressed his disappointment in Facebook pertaining to the New Zealand shootout. He said that Facebook could have done better than this.
Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has warned of legal actions against those who continue to share or circulate either publicly or privately a video recording regards to the shooting in New Zealand. A report of 50 people has parish in this attack. The final numbers are still in pending.
So guys, stop spreading hate among us. Remember, end of the day, our blood are the same colour, well unless you are an alien.
